The Game Master is not bound by reality, but lingers in the spaces between truths, pulling strings from beyond the veil. Only the chosen few—the “Players”—know of his existence, cursed or blessed with glimpses of the multiverse he names “The Game.” To their eyes he often takes the shape of a hooded wolf-headed man, his voice dripping with mockery and prophecy, though his form is never fixed. Gods, mortals, beasts—any may serve as his mouthpiece, their voices twisted into his own. For this, some call him the God of Many Faces. His marks are scattered through the worlds: the dodecahedron of chance, the cloak of the hidden hand, and the endless array of masks that conceal and reveal in turn.
R. Kloka is the creator of Arcainia, a fantasy world he’s been building since his first roll of the dice in 2014. An experienced Dungeon Master of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition and a self-published author, he brings his love of storytelling to both the gaming table and the page. A native of Michigan, he now studies Teaching English Language Arts at Central Michigan University, where he’s preparing to teach the next generation of storytellers. Beyond the classroom, he writes, reads voraciously, and never strays far from the world of dice and dragons. If he had to describe his own journey in D&D terms, he’d say he began as a Ranger, picked up levels in Monk through years of martial arts training, and is now fully embracing his Bardic calling.
